My Sugar Obsession Challenge: Day 10
This is clearly a no brainer. But…
EARTH TO ALL THE PEACEMAKERS! SATISFY YOUR HUNGER AND STRESS LEVELS WITH A PIECE OF FRUIT!
Although we’re not on deserted island and forced to hike up a palm tree to get a coconut, we have more fruits at our disposal than we’ve ever realized. Think about it. We should thank the farm workers for carefully selecting ripe fruits and vegetables, sending them to our local grocery stores so we could later buy them to satisfy ourselves. Fruits also have added benefits (JACKPOT) due to their high amounts of fiber, vitamin C, and natural sugars. We even have the pleasure of multiple fruits that are either seasonal or there are even some that are ripe all year round. For example, some fruits are more ripe in the summer (like mangoes, pineapples and plums), and some fruits are available all year round (like bananas, grapes, and apples).
Fruits can be consumed in a variety of ways, such as either juiced, or added to meals for a natural flavoring, or even can be consumed when dried (like raisins or dried mangoes). However, eating whole naturally grown fruits from the earth is preferred.
All jokes aside, for the past 10 days I have learned that there are many ways that you can consume less sugars and calories to your daily food intake by making minor tweaks to your daily habits. With the helps of proper foods, drink, habits and methods of exercise I have seen a dramatic improvement in my daily stress levels and mood. Hope that you’ve learned some new things along my “stress-reducing” journey.
